Choosing dishes that can be prepared with the gear that will be available, keeping in mind trash disposal facilities, is the first step. Of course you can be more exotic with meals prepared on a car camping trip vs. backpacking. The other main concern is any special dietary requirements for the individuals participating.

The main nutritional item to worry about is energy. Carbohydrates, proteins and fats are the primary energy sources to consider. Carbos and proteins are about equal, but fats carry about 2.25 times the calories per pound. On most typical Scouting trips that would not be important but I’ve read of climbers on extreme mountaineering treks who took 70% of their daily caloric intake as margarine (yuck). Carbos are easier to digest and “come on line” faster than fats which often take a few hours become available.

Do not eat diet coke

Please do not! The sweetener in diet coke causes problem of gastrointestinal which can make flatulent. Beside that, the carbonation will causes the flatulent, that means the double flatulent if you consume diet coke.

Get some fiber

Do not avoid fiber, because fiber is very important to our lung’s health. By consuming 25-30 grams fiber every day, you will keep your lungs well. Fiber also helps our body to smoothen the food in our digestion. It means that we can avoid the flatulent. If you have some time to make your breakfast, you can try some havermut cooked with a banana as your breakfast. At lunch you can try two slices whole meat as a sandwich and a fresh apple. Getting fiber in a right amount will produce some good mood to our body.

How to choose a printer

My office has changed their printer for many times from HP(Hewlett Packard) that’s use laser toner cartridges to Canon BJ 125. A view times ago I was asked to make some design of how to operate a printer effectively and economically. Then I use LAN (Local Area Network). Why? Because LAN can solve the problem easily if we know it well. To activate it, we just need a view meter of LAN cable and some RJ 45 socket, also a HUB as a terminal which is dividing the branch of the main LAN cable.

That is a flash about the LAN. By having that task, I am thinking about how to choose a good durable printer. Beside that, there’s another things to be considered if we don’t want to be regret in the future. Those things are:
