Now badness is not only happened in offline world only, but has touched to online world. Badness of online might possibly happened because our negligence in transacting, for example just to buy a software, gadget, and or product from a website. So one of badness in that online world is PHISING, where PHISING comes from word Fishing. In this case badness is fishing someone to transact at online by using website false. So from now be care full to do transaction in online!!!!
We all surely feared to become phising victim isn’t it? So I try giving Tips to avoid that your identity still awake and safe from perpetrator brain phising. Let us corrects reading tips following:
1. First step and most importantly, doesn’t reply email which that’s doesn’t mention the source. Even the email seen familiar, if message which you received is seen very important better soon contacts your bank and clarifies important message which you receives.
2. Pays attention to name of institution source of email and link commanded for click by you. Does it’s really containing link name or leads to the institution? Pays attention too the writing mistake. For example, if you received email from ‘ City Bank’, so you has received phising email.
3. Pays attention to email address at ‘TO’, does contains your e-mail address? Is the really e-mail address which you applies for the institution? Was the e-mail addressed for many people or just for your own? If one of the question answers was NO, the e-mail is SPAM!
4. Doesn’t giving information of your personal like credit card number through e-mail or instant messenger. E-mail is facilities which not safe to send secret information. Even the e-mail receiver you has believe, it is possible that your e-mail ploughed by others.
5. If you did transaction in internet, ascertains legal website and applies connection which is safe and has security and safety certificate from MasterCard, VISA, or Verisign. Website which is safe can be easily known from the URL, which is with using HTTPS. Addition of S at HTTP means Secure. Besides, will seen icon padlock locked at browser bar status.
6. Double click icon padlock locked to present security and safety certificate of website. Name that is as described at part ‘ Issued to ‘ must according to website which being you visiting. If the name different, you are possible is being in the middle of illegal website. If you had not is sure if the certificate had not ‘ validity’, doesn’t enter information and soon departs from website.
7. Always access internet banking with type the website address at software your web browser. Doesn’t have ever visited website is coming from link in an e-mail and gives your personal information. If you hesitated, contacts your Bank. The problem, many mans who is lazy types link URL because economical reason of time.
